development of digital stills - collage and found imagery

i want to use collage and found imagery for my cardboard cut out idea. i need a collage that fits with the British sea side theme and also isn't to distracting for the message of the image.
Waldemar Strempler. I like the use of collage and it relates to my theme of disguise because 'she' is made up of different people.:

for example this one doesn't fit with the theme and is a bit to distracting.
I thought this was an interesting way to represent the connection between humans and nature. I liked the impression given by this abstract style.:
i like this image more as it feels like it fits more to the theme and the time period i want to mimic on the board. i like how the pictures don't exactly merge together but still have an overall emotion.

Hollie Chastain, Book Cover Collages, Contemporary collage on old book covers, The Hole Summer Reading exhibit:
i really like this picture as well. it has a found imagery feel and a simple style which would attach well to the cardboard cutout simplicity. i like the difference in colour. some beige but others bright colours. i will use that idea for my project.

The wonderfully weird collages of California based artist Eugenia Loli.:
i really like this style of old pictures. i will try and reconstruct this to match the beach theme for my photo.

this is the kinda style i want to reconstruct in my collage. i think it could be used to create a powerful image.

i will need to get a technician to help me create this style of image from a photo using photoshop
